Like Raphael Sbrzesny, Aliénor Dauchez comes from the field of visual art and combines visual, performative and musical work in music theatre productions, especially in her own performance projects.
In »Sous Vide«, which was likewise co-commissioned by Akademie Schloss Solitude, she subjects herself to the oppressive conditions of a refrigerator interior, which she pushes to extremes, and makes the existential questions of human action and suffering that are also raised in the festival’s other music theatre projects directly experienceable. The sounds coming from the fridge are subjected to live electronic processing by Dmitri Kourliandski on stage.
