Simon Steen-Andersen (* 1976), is a Danish composer and stage director who works at the intersection

of music, theater, performance, and film. He has received numerous awards, including the Reumert Award for Opera of the Year (2024), the Mauricio Kagel Prize (2017), and the Nordic Council Music Prize (2014). Since 2018, he has been teaching composition and music theater at the University of the Arts in Bern.
