sh|ft ensemble is a production collective for percussion and new music. The ensemble develops multimedia performance formats of contemporary music and sound art with the aim of expanding the sonic experience through visual, physical or spatial concepts.

In its productions, sh|ft realises its own works, collaborates with composer friends or creates new interpretations and restagings of selected works from recent music history.

In recent years, numerous in-house productions have been realised at various venues in Germany, as well as collaborations with composers such as Gerhard Stäbler, Sara Glojnaric and Christoph Ogiermann, including at venues and festivals such as Musik der Jahrhunderte, Spedition Bremen, PODIUM Festival Esslingen and the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn.
